About Us
Who Are We?
We are homeschooling moms and educators with over 20 years of combined experience in early childhood education, special education support, IEP and 504 plan instruction, and higher education. Through our journeys as both teachers and parents, we saw a growing need for tutoring and life skills instruction that children could truly understand and apply in everyday life. Our goal has always been to make learning feel accessible, supportive, and meaningful for every child. This shared vision is what brought Uniquely Made to life.
Why We Started?
Uniquely Made Life Skills Center began with a simple but powerful realization: many children needed more than academics alone to truly succeed. Through our experiences as homeschooling moms and educators, we saw students struggling not just with schoolwork but with routines, confidence, emotional regulation, and everyday life skills. We wanted to create a place where learning felt clear, supportive, and encouraging, not overwhelming. Uniquely Made was created to meet that need and walk alongside families with understanding and purpose.

Precious Copeland
Precious Copeland is one of the hearts behind Uniquely Made Life Skills Center, a homeschooling mom and educator who understands firsthand the courage it takes to choose a different path in education. Three years ago, she decided to homeschool her oldest daughter after watching her struggle in the traditional classroom. What began with fear and uncertainty quickly turned into growth, confidence, and powerful progress as her daughter advanced two grade levels and started reading on grade level within just one year.
Soon after, Precious began homeschooling her second daughter, who has Down syndrome. Although she was making academic progress, Precious recognized the need for stronger development of life skills and individualized support. Throughout both journeys, one purpose remained clear: to ensure her children received the education, care, and understanding they deserved. That purpose is what continues to shape the mission of Uniquely Made today.
With over 10 years of experience as a VPK early childhood teacher and a deep love for working with children, Precious brings patience, creativity, and structure into every learning space. She is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education Studies with plans to graduate in 2026. Serving learners from Pre-K through 5th grade, she focuses on building strong reading foundations while supporting growth in math, language, confidence, and daily life skills. What brings her the most joy is watching students realize they are capable of far more than they ever believed.
